So rare that I get a card posted on the day of the challenge - but today's WT851 water technique clicked right away. Decided on the water color lift with this old whimsical African animal set. It took several tries to get the right WC BG going. I tried several different watercolor markers but many didn't blend well, so went with my old SU WC crayons. Living in the SW I thought this looked like a petroglyph so kept it organic. Roughed edges and used a rocky EF and some washi tape. TFL

Oh, I love that set and what a great card with it. I've never even tried the technique with markers, I reckon it works with most water-based mediums. The colours make me think of African cave art.

It reminds me of a petroglyph too! When I went to Albuquerque, I really wanted to go to petroglyph park but never made it. Love your colors and the technique. Well done.
