This is my first attempt at the hidden coloring technique. I did like the technique. Then I sponged the corners and edges and I don't love that part. I am just getting back into card making after about a 10 year break and realize that sponged edge technique seems to be a little out of fashion now. Oh well. I will try the technique again sometime. This is such a cool technique. Great job. Good for you getting back into card-making again. Try this again and it would be a good one to do for one of the weekly Color Challenges! Hope to see more of your creations soon. Thanks for sharing.

I still do it I think its just a roll with what you like kind of a thing. and who you are making it for, some people on my list are very frilly, and or Clean and simple and then I have a few that I can go all out with bells and whistles and lumps and distressing and so on.
the long strip spotlight of color is really cool like this

Rae Congrats of your featured stamper week and welcome back. I selected this card. I love the sponged edges and I do it a lot... This hidden color technique seems similar to the spotlight technique.
