I have to say painting a little bee was harder than I thought, but mostly I struggled the first time with the flower for the bee. I had to give him a flower. This is the second flower and I find I do much better with flowers I can paint one petal at a time.

This turned out great, Pat - That bee looks pleasingly plump and perfectly happy. The flower is awesome - I love all the texture you got on that center with the tiny spikes of color and those sheer individual petals have just beautiful veining and shadows.

I agree with Sally your flower is so pretty and the shading is perfect which gives this a realistic look, and the little bee found it's way to the flower!!
