After many fits and starts, I'm finally uploading for today's MIX, yesterday's WT and the ABC15 challenge for C-coloring.
I had done center stage when Sabrina had hosted it for the TLC a while ago. I'm just not very good at the floor. Part of the problem was that it is so humid her, the ink wouldn't dry, even with a heat gun. So some of the Versafine ink smudged on my nice yellowish floor. I had to go nuts with the darker markers to cover that up.
Jean doesn't color much...it is not something Jean enjoys. But I colored the floor with alcohol markers and the fairy with gel pens and colored pencils. My fairy is a distant relative of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, so that's why she's green. I added lots of glitter pen and other colored gel pens. I can't do realistic coloring very well but I could make her green for sure. The fairy reminds me of a cross between a flapper and a hoochie coochie dancer. I made her dress and wings as colorful as possible.
I'd like to name her...what are your suggestions?

I think your floor -and the spotlight on her - are great. Nothing wrong with using non-realistic colours, I am always telling myself that I should do that with birds and flowers.

Your floor turned out fabulously and great spotlight technique. Your fun fairy is cute. I have been contemplating names for her. I think she should be Gilda.

I love your spotlight technique, and your fairy looks like my sister Eileen a tad....she does Yoga well, but cannot really do anything else athletic at all.... LOL I think her name should be Eileen : )
