So, I have made the decision that, not everything you paint has to be finished into something you know what I mean? that I am just enjoying the messing around part of it all, so the one on the left was the first one and I did not have much room for water or sky because, the landscape was so skinny this way. So, I decided to try it again as a portrait shaped scene. ( which is not entirely dry when this was shot with a cell phone on the table this evening after work) I did enjoy this, Thanks for this challenge Angie & tfl.

I'm really impressed with both of yours! The reflection of the mountains on both turned out great. The white part of the sky for clouds is just right. Well done!
And I did pick up a tiny brush this aft.....maybe I'll get to use it next week.

Beautiful paintings !!! You captured the beauty of the mountains and the flow of the waves. You’re right about just painting something to relax and enjoy. Happy you joined us this week. Tfs

Stacy, I think watercolor is your calling. These are both beautiful. I love how the sun looks on the water. The mountains, water, sky, and grasses all look so perfect.

So beautiful! And I have heard that from Lydia, many times, "allow yourself to create unfinished projects". I really think, I want to make a little art book of the paintings that I don't share. Just for me. to see a progression. Like one from each practice. Not, the 9 I made last week! haha! Both of your paintings are beautiful! I really like both orientations! Your ridge of land looks fabulous!
