This is a nightmare in so many ways. The technique was super fun, I'll get me a proper ink pad for future adventures. Let's say this card did NOT end up as I planned it, but since I finished it I share it. Be gentle.

I like your results!! That red dress is reflecting that light really well.

I went to your blog before commenting. First your no line coloring using the versamark ink is amazing. Love the shadows you created on the dress. The rest of your card is very abstract, I applaud you for being spot on with the challenge. Your splatters finish the painting nicely. You should be so proud of this creation. Fav'd Thanks for playing in the challenge.

I went to your blog and had a chuckle at what you said about the splatters. I think your card is great and you did a very good job with the challenge. Good job getting the no line, too. Thanks for joining us this week.

It's 1 am so I will check out your blog post in the morning but I LOVE this! Your lady is very elegant and this has a lovely abstract look! This makes me want to know what the lady is up to!

I like the card you created. I love the scene. I love everything about it! I did what you did a year or so ago, I tried everything I owned to make a no line coloring card and into the trash all mine went. I finally broke down and bought the Ink on 3 No Line ink pad and thought "this is it. I can make a card easy now". Nope. Took lots of practice but I think I am getting better. I plan to keep on practicing with mine because I love the no line coloring concept and I can't get worse, right? I love your card!! You should be proud!!

Oh my goodness - first I went to your blog and that had me laughing hysterically - mostly because it read like many of my descriptions during this watercolor journey . Very few of these challenges turn out like the vision in my head and therefore equaled "nightmare" to me too. What I finally realized is that given a few days (or weeks) if I looked at the card again with an open mind, they were actually pretty good for a beginner. So don't write off this lady in red . . . . I would kill to call this mine and absolutely love both your woman and her misty ethereal surroundings - "blood spatter" and all !! This card went straight into my favorites folder and I would be thrilled to find it in my mailbox any day ( hint, hint, smile)
