It is my turn to hostess the mixability challenge this week. My challenge is to use balloons. I made the background for this journal page by pouncing a balloon into 2 different shades of yellow paint and then onto my gel press. The gel press hadn't been cleaned from a previous use so there were lots of interesting "bits". I drew the light bulb added shading with a pencil and highlights with a white gel pen. I used a black gel pen to write the scripture. Since you may not have a balloon I am posting early so that if you get the chance you can go get a balloon or two and join along.

The dappled texture you got is beautiful. I hope to try this when I can get small balloons. The yellow is perfect with your lightbulb and Scripture verse.

Marilyn this is so beautiful, not because of the light bulb (that is cute), but for the bible verse!
