Had a scrapbook afternoon with my Sister Saturday. We made up a challenge where we had to make two pages.
One page had to have a least one picture of our husband and the other had to have at least one picture of our parents. The theme had to be love and one page had to have something metallic.
I have my hubby on both pages and have my parents down on the bottom left of the orange page. Sorry for the glare - these Sprocket prints are just so shiny.
Thanks for looking - I so appreciate it!

I have wanted to do some scrapbooking, and I thank you for sharing these pages with us, for they are an absolutely WONDERFUL example of what I want to create, that kind of emotion. I honestly don't know where to start, I see so many elements here that I love in both. Love the Ralph Waldo Emmerson quote on one of the pages, and the way you have defined how you love your dear ones on the other page. WONDERFUL!!!
I really love how you have created a rustic page on the LHS one, the brown color, and the woodsy elements like the larger piece of patterned paper with the fox and the texture of a tree, yet you inserted some sparkle on your hearts which gave such a cool contrast, something I wouldn't have expected and I really enjoyed that!
Your RHS page used reds and rust, and used red hearts that were accented with ink around the edges which was so effective in combination with the hand-written element of the definition of love. I also really liked the hand-written note on the LHS page. I could go on and on saying what I really am taken with these pages, but then this comment would be longer than it is, and I tend to write comments here that are too long...
Your work always inspires me, and what impressed me most was how I could feel your love for your husband, and your family in what you created, and I think that this is remarkable!!! Thank you SO MUCH for leaving all of those wonderful comments not long ago on a number of my hand-stitched cards--how you encouraged me and you so touched my heart!!!

Wonderful pages, Nancy! Each one has it's own delightful charm. The woodsy work and the exciting colors made each extra special. The inspiring words on each truly make these pages ones to cherish. Excellent work.
