Color Challenge inspired by Pantone's Colors for 2021
Alphabet Challenge to use newsprint for Letter N
The Daffodil Delight color always reminds me of my two favorite flowers: tulips and daffodils. The tulip image was stamped in Basic Black and colored. I stamped it again in Basic Gray and fussy cut the newsprint out, sponged it with Smokey Slate and glued on top after coloring.
To color the image, I used Daffodil Delight blends markers on the tulips. And then I combined Smokey Slate and Mossy Meadow (neutral) to create a greenish gray to color the stems & leaves.
I was so excited to find that I actually have a DSP pack with all three colors. One side of the paper is a marble print which I used in Smokey Slate with the other side in Basic Gray. I layered those pieces on Daffodil Delight (the other side is Crushed Curry -not used). Two enamel heart dots to go with the sentiment. For dessert, I used twine for ribbon.
Edit - Just realized there are two dessert choices this week ;-) For something that moves - the tulips were cut from the garden, wrapped in newsprint and being moved to a vase. Creative thinking.

Wow, awesome design, Diane! Love that marbled dsp and your yellow heart enamel shapes. Stacking your blossoms really brought your bouquet to life! Just lovely!
