Featured Stamper Challenge honoring Deb known as debdeb on SCS.
Deb's gallery is amazing and filled with beautiful creations. I chose a simple one that I just loved for the design, the scripture verse, the colors and the awesome bow.
I started by looking for a scripture verse stamp that would fit in the space. It seems my scripture stamps are more wide than tall; then I noticed a stamp set that I have never used. I had ordered it by mistake and never really looked it over as it seemed confusing but it is a very cool stamp set. There are separate stamps for assembling three different Bible verses and three phrases focusing on the word HOPE. With this unique stamp set, I was able to stamp the verse in three parts, using three different colors; the MISTI was so helpful in lining it up. I pulled the colors from the paper I had selected. Since my verse is larger, I had to make my paper strips narrower than Deb's and I used a die-cut strip & ribbon.
Thanks Deb for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!

So beautiful. I love the papers and your inks match soooo well. And, I adore the die cut strip at the bottom. Lovely touch. I agree with Nancy, some wise words we all need right now.

He is our hope, our peace, and our joy. Your card is a beautiful take on Deb's. That two toned ribbon is lovely and accents the DP so well. That stamp set sounds like a winner, I'll watch your gallery for other cards made with it, Diane.

I have my eye on that one, too, b/c I actually have the papers she used. I love your take on her card with your multicolored sentiment and border die. So pretty!
