This was a tough challenge for me. I am very much lacking in bells aside from the jingling sort, and I'm trying so hard to get out of Christmas card mode. So I went searching online for a bell joke and found this one: Did you hear about the guy who invented knock-knock jokes? He won a No Bell Prize. Hehe. So I used my one bell stamp that isn't Christmas to stamp a background. Can you make out the bells behind my sentiment? The bells panel was going to be larger, but I thought my card would be really boring. So I decided to use SC228. Then I found some DP that is sort of a newsprint. But my card was still boring. Needed critters. I got up to go look for a cute critter to add and then I remembered that I had this bear all cut and colored because he didn't fit into my pop up box from Tuesday. I did have to stamp and cut some clouds to make him fit a little better. Phew! That took a long time!
Thanks for a fun challenge, Jayne! I hope 2021 is treating you well! I'll be there in 14 hours...
Happy New Year, my dear friends. Wishing you all the best in 2021!

What a fun card with that silly joke. Bet the boys love silly jokes, tho maybe not this one. Love that critter!

LOL, what a fun joke. I'm not surprised Anne really enjoyed it. And what a sweet bear. That background, I think, has to be taken from an Irish newspaper? But old enough to have the long loopy s that looks more like an f, I don't know when that changed. But I see Cork(e), Mayo and I think Galway under one of the clouds...

HaHaHa....I love your jokes and puns. Great take on the challenge. Fun and cute card. Love the newspaper. How astute of Sabrina to notice it's an Irish newspaper. Made me go back for a second look. Now I want to know what Mrs. Scott was up to. The addition of the clouds was perfect for your high-flying bear. A fun way to ring in the New Year.

LOL! Jennifer I laughed out loud this is so fun! I never get out of Christmas mode. I make at least 2 every week. I took inventory of how many I need for next year and I need 154 plus 36 gift tags so I need to rethink my 2 a week and get started. LOL! I love how cute your card turned out and that is super funny too.
