Ina, our feutured stamper has got a great gallery with a lot of fun folds and techniques to case, I've chosen this pretty easel card to case: Holly X2 by yellowrose46 at Splitcoaststampers
Ina has got some Dutch roots and I thought it would be fun to creat an easel with a Dutch mill and tulips.
I've used the TLC827 technique to make my card look like a tile, I've stamped the mill and water colored the square, once dry I've covered it with tape, then scored the squares on my scoring board, I've stamped the birds over the tape with stazon.
I've used a border punch to pundh the tulips and glued them on the bottom of the easel card, the birds keep the easel in place and I've finished by using a sticker sentiment in stead of a die cut sentiment.
Enjoy your week in the spotlights Ina

Anita, how fun you did a tribute/nod to her roots! Love the tile look, that super image, and your great card shape. Sweet and pretty case. Love it. Hugz

Lovely card! I love your windmill, tulips, faux tiles, but the easel really makes it wonderful. Love that you can stand it up and stare at the beautiful scene.

Anita, thank you so much for honouring my roots. Indeed my roots are deep in the Netherlands. I was born there and most of my cousins live there. This card is awesome. It certainly looks like a Dutch tile, with the squares and the shiny finish. The windmill is beautiful and I always love easel cards. Thank you!
