I am the hostess for the last Tickle a Teapotter challenge of the year, inspired by the Greek myth about Pandora's Box - you can find it HERE, along with a photo of my closed card.
(For the closed view, I made faux wood by mixing re-inker with PVA glue and painting it onto card. Cut the pieces, scored them and added them to the box. Used matt gold card to punch photo corners, embossed them and buffed them with Craft-T rub-ons. The chipboard key is from Maya Road, covered on both sides with gold EP, and attached through an eyelet with a ball chain. I made the little lock using a Spellbinders die and simply punching three holes in it with the cropadile, then attached it with brads. A screw brad also holds the bellyband closed.
Inside - I used a piece of blue card embossed with a Darice ef for the back. Outlined the clouds with a white gel pen. The little bluebirds are on tiny strips of folded acetate.
Rainbow cut from white card and sponged with DOX inks, then pieced onto a sticky address label. I added the clouds to raise it up a bit. It's attached to the further back insert in the box. The grass, with sequin flowers, and sheep are attached to the front insert. The two sides are the same green as the base, embossed with a leafy swirl ef, highlighted with a Gelato and matted onto white. The front has a sentiment from WPlus9 - for Anita's TLC I used clear packing tape on the die-cut sentiment.

Your box card is absolutely stunning Sabrina. TFS. Happy day. Unfortunately I will have to pass this month on the challenge as I’ve got too much else happening. It’s a great challenge and anyone receiving your card will love it. Hugs

I too love Greek mythology....we studied it in school and I had a book of mythology when I was younger. This card will bring hope and sunshine to any of us. So pretty and happy.

This box is adorable. There is few things more iconic for HOPE and better days than a rainbow. Love the pattern on your sheep. What a happy and sunny card.

You've created such a cheerful scene here. it definitely says hope. And you definitely went the extra mile on the outside of the card with your faux chest. Thanks for the challenge -- I think you got a lot of us to try something new to us.
