A big congrats to Ina, the newest Featured Stamper! She has such a wonderful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the bird & water theme, but used different images & dies & made a watercolor on embossing folder technique for the background.
After dry embossing the bg, I watercolored it. I wanted to add some sparkle, so I inked the inside of the folder w/ Versamark (this inked only the lines) then embossed w/ a clear, sparkly powder. I added a white frame where I stamped & colored the rocks border & the fussy cut swan.
Thanks so much for looking. I'll have it on my blog in a bit.

Your embossed middle is soooo lovely and works so perfectly with that lovely DRS Designs swan, Julie. I love your colors too. Super case - so peaceful and pretty. Hugz

Julie, I just love this card! My colours, for sure. Your background is amazing. I love the lovely inside edge of the frame. Fussy cutt8ng is also my thing and your graceful swan fits into this scene perfectly. And aren't we all missing others right now?

Julie, this is such a great case of Ina's card. That gorgeous and colorful embossed background is so perfect to highlight the swan. I love the color combination you used.
