Brenda gave us a video that shows how to create simple watercolor cards. Each week I take something new from the videos. This week it shows how she made a simple line when starting this painting, and it guides you not to make things too large. After painting the image took and added splatters. Used the micron pen for the sentiment. Using Lyn's challenge for a side fold card created the background for the image. It really is quite simple if you don't add all the layers. Added the twine. Hope you can join us this week. TFL

Love your card, Linda, and I like the berries larger than I did mine. Wonderful sidefold, also.

I can tell by the rolled edge on your pot that it must be original hand painted Mexican pottery - it looks a LOT like ones I picked up when I moved to the southwest. Your berries look so lush, ripe and ready to eat that I'd be tempted even if they were "ornamental bushes".

Ooh! Great challenge combo! Lovely watercoloring! I drew my line for the ground and then I didn't like my short and fat pot, made it taller and lost my ground line. Ha!
