Cathy's wonderful challenge: to be inspired by a Christmas song or carol. Mine is "I'll Be Home for Christmas". Of course we will, in the year 2020! Most of us anyways!
I got this bundle at a good price at a local scrapbooking store's garage sale, in the summer of 2019. There were none this year of course. That particular store has remained closed since March 2020 and only taking online orders since, because of the pandemic.
I cut a stitched shape in white and then in gold foil to show off the stars and glued them together. Used the marker- to- stamp- technique to color the house image before stamping in the Misti, fussy cut it and glued down. Diecut a few trees from the dies in this set. Sprinkled some dazz. diam after I stamped the sentiment. White circle is backed by a scallop layering circle and then a tranquil tide glimmer circle. Thanks Cathy for a great challenge.
Here's Michael Buble singing the song:

What a perfectly delightful little scene illustrating your chosen Christmas song, Shirl! The glitter and shimmer make this a beautiful and festive Christmas card!
Oh, this is beautiful! I love the sparkle! And don't we miss our little stores? So sad. I am sure glad you grabbed this up last year when you had the chance. It makes such a fabulous Christmas card!

This is such a sweet and lovely Christmas card. Your tranquil tide glimmer paper is just yummy! I had to laugh at your comment regarding your song inspiration - Ill be Home for Christmas - when you said, "Of course we will be home for Christmas in 2020"! How true!
