It is the end of the month and the teapotters are sending cards to one another. Dr. Sonja has chosen a zentangle challenge. While I was trying to think of a suitable image, my eyes landed on this tree stamp set and voila, I did not even have to attempt it, lol. I diecut the eyelet die out of a 4+1/4" piece of shimmery white and decided I liked the look of the negative piece that it left, so on it went. I first stamped the star and then stamped the tree in black-is zentangle only done in black?, then just held some c.s. over the tree to stamp my stalk. Used my stamp-a-ma-jig to do the sentiment. Punched some red snowflakes cause hey if your tree is black, anything goes, lol. The rock candy glitter sticks very well, after using glue of course, so I don't think there will be much shedding, but will put this in a clear sleeve just in case. Merry Christmas!

I have several IO stamps that have a Zentangle look, bought long ago. Must have been a premonition about me and tangling. I love what you did with that tree.

Shirl, you have the most unique and wonderful die cuts and border dies! This border is just right to showcase your Zentangle Christmas tree and that super sparkly rock candy glitter.

What fun elements you combined here. Gives lots to enjoy and absorb. I all that you did with the embedded die cut, the red background, the red snowflakes, the "snow", the great use of spots of color that frame the black tangled tree. Just great fun all around. Thanks for taking the challenge and finding your zen!

This is lots of fun Shirl - That die cut puts me in mind of the lacy edged handkerchiefs of my grandmothers day - The peeks of red through the cut outs really add to the festivity of this zen-tree card.
