My inspiration for this is the book The Call of the Wild. I wanted to use this Lavinia wolf image and I thought it would work for a masculine card.
For my bg I smooshed DO inks on a craft sheet and spritzed with water. I did this in layers drying with my heat gun in between colors. I then stamped my images using MISTI , added a bit of chunky ep, and doodled around the edges.

So much to love with this card. The hairs on the wolf are so striking...great depth in your landscape. And kudos for your patience scene building. I especially like how the long sentiment is supported by a strong vine. Beautiful and rugged, mf.

I adore this card because I love wolves -- well from a distance that is. Your bg is beautiful and the stamps you used to create the wolf's forest are magical. This card is magical. I knew which book you had selected as soon as I saw this card even though, like Jean, I have never read the book. I hope Bill is comforted and inspired by the verse as well as the message in the book of transformation and survival.

Oh gosh, Polly!! This is fantastic. Great background, great scene and a lovely choice of verse. Love all the chunky ep. We saw the trailer for the movie over Christmas and I was really looking forward to seeing it in the cinema, but Little Women was the last thing I got to.

A very encouraging scripture for Bill! I really love the gorgeous background you created with the DOX inks and especially love the chunky embossing powder.
