A big congratulations for Jane (janemom) our latest Featured Stamper! I had a great time going through every page of your gallery. And saw loads of super cool cards. In the end, it was this CAS beauty that I kept coming back to. I liked the layout, the large focal point with your pretty DP, the scalloped points you continued across the bottom.
I changed my focal from the patterned DP to a sentiment. I chose to use a big ribbon instead of your punched border and the oval cross, I added my 'not too' sparkly woman. I used the Fun Stampers Journey expression...I love that! Can one ever have too much glitter?
This card is also for Gracies' Winter Sparkle FF20JRHolbrook in the Falliday Fest Challenge. I have to confess, I just don't do 'real glitter', it's beyond my messy tolerance. Enter the glitter paper! I had to add the marvelous Art Impressions 'Golden Oldie' woman right there on the edge...espousing her .2 cents! Charming, isn't she? That's her hair ribbon up at the top...once she puts away the antlers for Spring.
Jane, I hope your week as our FS is full. Your gallery is evidence this is a well deserved honor! And to every one...sparkle some more. Thanks for stopping by.
