For Janelle's Give All the Credit MIXed media challenge. I always give as much "credit" as possible in my descriptions anyway.
I searched "credit card" in the tutorials section and came up with a few, including acrylic stencil deboss which I normally like. 5 attempts and a lot of time later, I didn't have anything I liked but decided to just run with one of them anyway - so I loaded a lot of stuff on. Originally it was yellow and green with a little red. I used white paint and drywall mesh tape to stencil randomly all round the edges.
Then I took a Joanna Sheen tropical frame stencil and mixed paste with Brushos, let it dry. Mixed more, this time with moss green (the first time was leaf green) and stencilled up the left side and overlapping the original green along the bottom. Sprinkled some gold glitter on it while it was still wet. The blossoms were in a dish on my desk (watercolours on watercolour paper), and the blues looked good on my background but there weren't enough. So I stamped the birds, embossed with clear EP and coloured with Twinkling H2Os. The strip of gold glitter card was on my desk, all ready for them to perch on. Hello was cut twice, once from a scrap of serendipity scraps background, once from gold card, and I did my best at outlining it with a black pen - not easy after I'd added Stickles all round the edges of the card and Liquid Pearls to the flower stamens.

I am just speechless, Sabrina.. this is fabulous in every way.. the patterns and textures keep me going back to see how everything was done. Such a pretty mix of colors. The touches of gold are perfect. Give yourself a big thumbs up for making this masterpiece.

This is gorgeous! I mean all those texture layers are divine and however intended or not it has an illusion of being deep in the woods, but yet the image is popped up! Great job on the process and thanks for sharing it in the Mix-Ability gallery!

Wowsers! Your card is perfect for today in Ontario believe it or not! It is 17 C and very humid - not typical late October weather. Your colourful tropic scene is splendid!

I agree with DH that you improved it because it looks great as a colorful, jungle bg for your images. Love the flowers and bird perched on that golden branch. Fabulous and super fun card.

You might not have been happy with the way your technique came out, but you rocked it with everything you added to this. I want to touch it so bad. Gorgeous!
