It's time to tickle a teapotter! Jan is our hostess and has brought us a fun fall challenge to use scarecrows on our cards. Here is a Bugaboo scarecrow image that I've never used. She's an award-winning scarecrow---out-standing in her field. I have to say I was a little disappointed that she was wearing a skirt instead of jeans and I couldn't use my actual favorite scarecrow joke. Either way, I had a lot of fun coloring her and her field. The card felt a little flat to me after I was done coloring, so I grabbed a bone folder and burnished the paper from the back to give her shoes, face, hat, and shirt some dimension. You can't see it in the picture, but one of you will be able to feel it in real life and vouch for me.

What a cute image, although I agree the skirt is a little unexpected. (When I saw the theme for this week, I immediately checked my Bugaboo folder thinking I must have a scarecrow digi, but I didn't have any from Bugaboo.)

I rather like this gal in her long denim skirt BUT it has me wondering what your favorite scarecrow joke is since she needed jeans to make it work . . . .

Sweet scarecrow, and a lovely wheatfield for her to be out standing in. I really like that way of adding a little texture and dimension, I know how effective it is. Me three wants to know your favourite joke.

had commented but guess forgot to hit send as not here---a girl scarecrow she can do as good a job as a boy scarecrow--neat idea to give her dimension and nice coloring
