This card incorporates this week's colors of Flirty Flamingo, Terracotta Tile and Soft Suede, while using the watercolor technique of Watercolor Imprints. I used watercolor paints to match the colors on this background. I'm pretty limited on stencils but thought this one would work well. After finishing the technique I splattered the area with brown splatters, then spritzed with shimmer mist. After working so hard to create that panel I wanted it to shine, so only used a slim ribbon and a leaf with the sentiment on top of it. This was an easy technique and I love the effect you get. Thanks for looking.

For sure, you were right, that stencil worked great and you made a beautiful card. Lovely ribbon and I like how you have the sentiment on the leaf. Like your envie, too.

The background looks great with those subtle colors, and you are so right not to cover it up. I always love seeing an envelope that compliments the card. Happy you joined the challenge and added this beauty to the gallery. TFS

Love the simplicity of your card design, the background is just beautiful! It's so fun to create your own one-of-a-kind DSP, the stencil worked wonderfully with the Love of Leaves die cuts! TFS
