Orange is typically NOT a color I use EVER (except maybe for pumpkins - though aqua and white work fine for me) so why I grabbed it today - who knows??.....
Dragged the orange over my WC paper and when I realized what I had done, tried to tone it down a bit with frayed burlap. spritzed with water then laid my stencil over it and waited for it to dry . . . . .now . . .what to do with this.
Monday, when I was going through a box of inherited DP, I came across this stamped sentiment. I thought it might cover a good portion of my overly orange BG. Die cut the long stemmed wild flower twice from WC paper, colored one and layered offsetting slightly. Finished with a trio of Yellow-green sequins and added a tiny bead to the center of each.
PS - If anyone knows the mfg of the stamped sentiment I will add it to the credits.

Wonderful stencilled background, Linda, and I love the offset of your flower. Your card has a beginning Fall look but when the flowers are still blooming...like mine. Awesome card.

I like it....it has that warm earthy feel to it with the orange. That is the one thing about watercolors...never know exactly what your going to get. Like how you designed the card with the sentiment and the pretty flower die. Happy to see you this week playing in the challenge. TFS

I really love the orange that reminds me of fall. I love that the stencil looks like a garden fence.

Oh, you did a fabulous job with this! I didn't used to be an orange fan until this year! Now I am all about the yellow, orange, red combos! It's like someone new is me! haha! I think you did all the right things to make this an amazing card. That sentiment is so beautiful, I read it twice and I love the wildflowers!

Well, I love orange, actually I can't think of a colour that I don't like in some fashion. This is super cool Linda, loving the undertone of blues that pop in. A great card.

I love orange! And I love your bold and beautiful background. Perfect for fall with the brown mixed in. I also love the way the purple flower complements it. It reminds me of the little purple asters that bloom in my yard every fall. Well done on another WCW challenge, my friend!
