For this project, I made a card for my Squirrel obsessed husband. I used Distress inks and SU ink pads for watercoloring. The Squirrel and acorn are Distress inks and in his nooks and crannies is Creamy Carmel watercolored through so the background was lt brown. For the grass- Wasabi and Peeled Paint DI, for the leaves all DI's.
For the Alpha challenge, I made a stencil with a die and added the X's using 3 colors of DI, and the E is Enamel dots.

Does he like red squirrels?? I've heard they're mean. I had an empty seed bag on the porch and a red squirrel got in it. What a commotion. I freed him. Such a pretty diecut.

Your squirrel is so cute and I love the background and torn paper. Of course, those Fall leaves are awesome. So glad you joined the watercolor challenge and watercolored everything so pretty.

Shelly, this is such a great fall design and love the squirrel. I see my little backyard friends almost daily. We have been putting out peanuts in shells for them, and I have seen many of them burying them as they get ready for winter coming, although our winters are generally mind around here. Yet, he plans ahead to take care of his needs.

Oh Yes - it also looks like you made this card specially for Squirrel Obsessed me too. I have many happy memories of watching and feeding them when I was in Canada on holidays. Love their antics of stuffing their cheeks full of nuts before scurrying away to hide them. I now need that squirrel die now after seeing this beautiful card.
