I really enjoyed this technique. I'm attracted to geometric stencils so it wasn't hard to do this, harder to choose which stencil. I didn't try real hard to do each little opening a different color from the next and I did end up blending some of the colors: Distress speckled egg, stormy sky, weathered wood, peeled paint, forest moss and walnut stain. I used the stormy sky to stencil the word 'peaceful' in a few places and to stamp the leaf vines. I'm also including this for the ABC challenge: the letter U for ursula butterfly. I looked it up, I couldn't find a lot about it, I'm wondering if it is extinct...it is a very old dictionary after all. I kept getting information about the sea witch Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Hah!

Great stencil, wonderful colours. The blue and tan part and all the spiky foliage gives it a real seaside feel to my eyes. I almost feel as if I'm looking through a window.
