I have always been fascinated by the idea of mermaids but when you really think about it, what a lonely life it must be caught between 2 different worlds . . . . This will go to my best friend whom I haven't been able to see since April even though she only lives 2 miles from me . . . . What a joy it will be when we can safely get together again!
Stamped my Unity image and colored with prismacolor pencils - If you look closely there is even a little seaweed green caught in her hair. I added stickles over all the scales and tail fins (always hard to capture in a pic. This set comes with some great sentiments but I thought the simple SU one might better reflect the loneliness I am feeling. I used a cotton ball and artist chalk pastels to sponge soft color all around the image.

That's a beautiful image. I agree it must be lonely...as are we without our friends and family.

Beautiful, Linda. Your mermaid looks like a stain glass window. Like how you did the chalk bg. This really is getting old not being able to see our friends. :(.
Absolutely beautiful card! I, too, miss my friends and family. I do talk to them frequently just so I can hear thier voices

Wow! This is beautifully colored! This just draws me in! I know it's hard but I am so glad you and your friend are taking care of one another by keeping your distance! Gentle hugs, my friend!
