After applying inks to the saran wrap, I spritzed with water, then laid the glossy card stock face down on the inks. Flipping the cardstock over, I used my fingers to squish the wrap a bit and let it dry. The back ground is that result. Then the blue layer, I die cut the letters, then made slits on both sides and slid the background piece under that so the letters would show thru. Add to orange card base.

I am definitely going to have it try it this way. I've always applied colour to my paper, rather than to the wrap. I like the control you seem to have with where you want the colour. And it looks as if the DOX inks work well - this is lovely.
