I was just drawing a blank on where to go with this one and I spied this feather image. So I stamped with VM. all over the white base and embossed in white. I pulled out some favorite green watercolor paints, and swished it all over, stamped a little around it, and done!
I do really like to use emboss resist and this is a great reminder of how beautiful it looks. Thanks so much for looking at my card today.

A great idea for emboss resist using the feathers and the greens. Very pretty card. Thanks for joining us this week in the Watercolour Wednesday challenge
Gorgeous! I find this technique to be so relaxing. It's so easy to get a beautiful painting! Your watercolor wash along with the embossed feathers are stunning!

I like your shades of green with these feathers, Kathy. The splatters and stamped squares are a nice touch too. The black feather next to the sentiment is really sweet~

Those feathers were inspired for the bg resist - the wash over the top of the embossing really helps one see ALL the texture in those feathers. I like how you continued the theme with the fussy cut feather as a focal point.
