For today's color challenge I decided to go with a gift bag for Christmas- with 3 layers for dessert. Used a die cut intricate heart from my stash, and added some patterned ornament like paper for my lower border. Found some sparkly red trim, and punched 2 holes in my folded over bag top and threaded some striped flannel through it. My central panel is simply colored with a medium brown with contrasting red for the ornament and mouse's pants. Used a silver sharpie for my tree branch and star. Finished with a hand lettered sentiment block.

What a fun card with the mouse holding an ornament. I hate to tell him he's a little early. Great job.

I always love it when someone makes something other than a card, so you know I love this gift bag. Your little mouse is so cute, and the greeting is fun--it would be perfect for a slightly-before-Christmas gift!

That little mouse is so cute. I love that you pulled out a bag to decorate for this challenge. You remind me that I have some of these and maybe I should pull out mine.
