I created this card for my brother for his upcoming birthday. He loves dogs, and he & my SIL have 2 of their own. They are not dachshunds in any way, shape, or form, but I figure this is good enough for jazz! The inspiration for this card came from one I saw Julie Ebersole make on the Ellen Hutson YouTube channel. You can see my card closed & read most of the process at this post.
To stamp the streamers, I first marked the fold lines on my card base with light pencil lines, so I wouldn't accidentally stamp over a score line. I used Lawn Fawn & Memento inks to stamp. For the Forget-Me-Not & Freshly Cut Grass inks, I used both first & second generation stamping to get 2 different tones. I had initially considered stamping the streamers on the back panel as well, but decided against it in the end. Once I finished stamping, I erased the pencil lines & scored and folded my card. I really love how this card came out! Hopefully my brother will get a kick out of it, too.

That hot diggety dog is super-cool! I really love how you have decorated the inside of this card, complete with a neat blue balloon, and so many celebration streamers in so many colors--so colorful and full of fun!!!
