I was a bit stumped on both this week's watercolor challenge and Chris's colors. So I combined them and I'm pretty happy with the result. This wet on wet technique was scary for me, because I like to have more control than that. I also didn't think it looked good while it was wet, but I found that as they dried, they looked way better. I got this flowery stamp in a grab bag from Stamplorations. I do love a good grab bag. I never would've ordered this on my own. Perfect for pairing with this great SU sentiment--which I wouldn't have embossed if not for Chris's dessert, but it was just the thing to finish off the card.

Beautiful job on the challenge. Love your watercoloring, and the thin black framing makes it pop. Happy to see you joining the watercolor Wednesday challenges. TFS

Beautiful Jen, wonderful watercolouring. Watercolours dry lighter than when you first paint them, so it is always worth waiting for them to dry if you are not sure about something. You can always add more colour, if you think it is needed. I think this is perfect.
