This card is for the Sketch and also the Try a New Technique Challenges.
I made the scrape painting panel a couple of weeks ago and it didnât come out that great so itâs been sitting in my stash until yesterday when I thought I could cut it down and use it for the sketch challenge. I highly recommend having a go at the scrape painting challenge...itâs fun and this was my one and only attempt so I will be trying it out again and hopefully will get a better result.
Sentiment stamped and banner cut and plonked on my card. Iâve had these chipboard buttons in my stash for a while and itâs always good to be able to use things up. Twine added and done. Nothing fancy but I like how colourful it turned out.
TFL. Happy day

The button is a cute and colorful accent to coordinate with the very bright swirls. I agree that this technique is one you need to try a few times. I didn't much care for my first swirl either. Thanks for trying out my first sketch challenge!

Your scrape painting turned out better than the one I have. Not going to throw mine away though-just have not made a card with it yet- Love the colors you used in your piece and love all the other bright colors you used to make this gorgeous card!
