It's my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge & "crossover event" with the IC Team & the FS Team joining forces for both challenges this weekend! Since it's the 4th of July weekend, I picked THIS for my inspiration.
To make my card, I used some Brushos & painted from both ends, letting it run & flow. I added a few splatters then die cut using a new slimline die. The fireworks dies were arranged at the top, cut & I added glitter paper behind them. All of the fireworks were die cut out of 3 colors of glitter paper, put together & added on top. I found a greeting that seemed to fit the theme & the space in the center of the fireworks & added it.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & product links: The Write Stuff

Such a cute long card! I should make more of those but then I would have to invest in new envelopes. Happy 4th of July, Julie!

Some awesome painting, die cutting and designing here, Julie. You have the best die collection! Love the firework rockets and the sky (cute how you did the sentiment too). Super fun card!!! Thanks for letting us play with you all! Hugz

You are so good at your presentation! Fun, long, skinny card! Wish I liked fireworks more. They're illegal here and I'm glad about it. Loud noises always make me jump. But they are beautiful to look at.
