My inspiration from the song was âwild geese that fly with the moon on their wingsâ. Years ago I made a small sample of a miniature quilt using the pattern called Wild Goose Chase. This is a variation on what I did then. I punched a circle to make a stencil for the moon. I heat embossed the sentiment wit Irridescent Ice embossing powder. Then I masked the moon and daubed the dark sky. The maple leafs are part of a stamp that I colored with a marker and used my Stamparatus to repeat a bunch ( or flock, I guess I should say). I cut them with a small square punch, then cut into triangles. The rest was careful measuring and placing the geese up on foam dots.
On the first it is our National holiday, so early Happy Canada Day!

As a fellow Canadian and the host of the "My Favorite Things" challenge, I love your card - those maple leaf geese are so clever. And what a beautiful night sky and moon! Thanks so much for making a card for my VSN challenge.
