I was so excited to see that Cathy is our Featured Stamper this week! I have worked on a Design Team with Cathy and she was the very first person to comment on my very first Dirty Dozen Upload. The things we don't forget. Cathy, is a treasure. She is sweet and an amazing artist. Congratulations Cathy!
I had not started on my IO "Old is New card" yesterday so I had fun browsing Cathy's gallery in search of inspiration. I found this amazing set of CAS cards. I will link to one but Cathy created 4 in different colors! I really want to use this design again!
I kept my card fairly CAS. I used a Gingham stamp on the lower portion as Cathy did. Instead of the twine, I added a loopy die-cut. Instead of a silhouette stamp, I used the mirror imaging technique and added this cute little cup. Don't you just MISS sitting over a warm beverage and looking at your friend's face?
I am also playing along with the VSN - Summer Playlist! Jeanette has us looking at the top songs of the Summer 1968 and I found Turn Around and Look at Me. Ha! I looked at the lyrics and viewed today it has a little bit of a stalker feel to it but right now, wouldn't we all just LOVE to be able to LOOK at our friends and family!

You are so kind, Angie! Thank you so much for choosing one of my cards to CASE...what an honor. I have completely forgotten all about the stamp set used for your inspiration card...now I will have to get it out again and use your beautiful card for my inspiration. Love the teacups with the red gingham...a charming country feel...love it! Hugs!

Angie, this card is adorable... I love the homespun look with the gingham table covering and those inviting cups of beverage. I totally agree with your take on the song, too - it would be great to look at our family and friends! Thanks for jamming with me in the Summer of '68 VSN Challenge!

Miy cup is on the right with the extra milk and this afternoon I have some cinnamon added to it as well. Yes, being around people more would be nice! I long to give my Pop a giant hug.
Your card is super cute, Angie and a fabulously sweet case of Cathy's card. Hugz

This is a really sweet card! Perfect to send out to someone right now. I love the cards in Cathy's gallery that you cased. Have to go make one for her. Now I can't use this idea though! You've already made a super card.

At the moment my coffee is the black one on the left but I am sure it will be a cream one later! Love the cute table cloth and the mirroring of the mugs
