This card was made for two card challenges; one that required an outer space theme, and the other that required the use of red, white and blue colors.
I love the "outer space" background you can create with alcohol inks, so used them on Yupo paper and blew them around with a straw to form galaxy patterns.
The rocket was digitally cut as 14 pieces, then glued down on a black background piece of cardstock. The file I used for the rocket was from DesignBundles' Amazing Craft SVG file bundle "Outer Space" by Pretty Grafik.
The planets were stamped in red and blue, then hand colored with Copic markers. The sentiment on the ring of the blue planet was typed using Microsoft Word, then curved using Word's "Word Art" tool I then fussy cut it out and glued it to the ring.
This will make a great card for a special occasion card for adults or kids.
I am rating the difficulty of the card as a "3" out of a possible "5" because of the need to assemble the rocket, custom create the sentiment, and time spent creating the alcohol ink background.
