I had pulled this stamp out for Lisa's unused stamps challenge. I'd totally forgotten about it - I bought it in a closing down sale along with a couple of other stamps to use as gifts (which I also forgot about, and sent a birthday card without the stamp!). I mailed it yesterday so I can't look at it to check the details properly. I know I coloured the heron and tree with Polychromos pencils, but I'd stamped it on watercolour paper so that I could use either inktense pencils or watercolours for the lake and sky. The background is the Cuttlebug forest branches ef embossed with whatever suitable colours were on my sponges, hickory smoke, vintage photo. I added some gold trim around two corners, and I still had this pad of paper on my desk from a Teapot Tuesday card and I thought the heron looked good on it, so I upped the card size to 7" x 5" and used that as the base.
