I love walking at our local marsh, which is a bird sanctuary. It has lots of tall bull rushes and weeds, and the dragonflies are flying all over the place. I love taking pictures of the dragonflies and the birds.
I created the background by doing a water colour wash with burmuda bay and certainly celery. Next I stamped on the grasses. I had a piece of polished stone/alcohol ink already in my stash. Die cut the dragonfly. Die cut a solid dragonfly and placed underneath the polished stone dragonfly. Applied stickles to the dragonfly and added the rhinestone eyes. I used a copic marker to colour in the body. Finished the sketch.
Thanks for looking.
Hugs.. Pat

That dragonfly is a showstopper, and as always your stitched edge is perfection.
