I made this card for Sabrina's challenge: "A Clean Start" using a bleach technique. I was challenged today and couldn't seem to get the technique "Rainbow Craft" to work. After 6 attempts, I just went with what I had.
I used pink pigment ink on my base, let it dry and then, brayed over pink with darker blue dye-based ink. I tried this technique with light blue, lavender, bright blue, too. I couldn't get the bottom color to show up using the stamped bleach technique. Oh well, maybe I'll try another day.
I ended up with this lighter blue flower, so I stamped over it with the outline stamp in black, added white highlights and splatters. I used a little glitter on flower center and a few dots. I layered this onto light blue, tied a ribbon around it and then, put it on striped DP. I glued this onto my large white glitter card. You can't see the glitter in this photo. It looks a bit better irl.

I just ended up painting with bleach to see what came up underneath the top color in the dye of the paper. It is always a fun surprise, so I ended up doing two cards since that was so much fun. I love how your card turned out.

Was it fresh bleach, Gracie? I know that makes a difference, and if you've been away, maybe it was an older bottle that had been open for some time. I couldn't believe the difference fresh made the first time I tried it as opposed to whatever was in the bathroom at the time. I think the soft ghostly look you got is fantastic, though. It's like a micro photograph or something.
