We are sending cards to Jean this week, who recently lost her dh. Jean likes cats, flowers and green. I went with the floral green. The pink hearts were punched out of an embossed piece from my stash. I think I had used stickles on the flowers on the mini postcard. (Done a long time ago). I sponged all the edges with old paper which gives an aged taupey/green look. I hope this brings some happy to Jean. Thanks to Jen for hosting and to Chrissy for suggesting Jean to receive some paper hugs in the mail.

Shirl, I am sure Jean's eyes will light up when she sees this beauty! That color combo of pink and green is a favorite of mine. The dsp is gorgeous and the pink embossed hearts are adorable!

Your card is all heart Shirl! These vintage floral papers are sure to bring a big smile to Jean's face, and the hearts and this dainty bow tie this card up so beautifully. Beautiful and pleasing card design too! ~Karen.

Such a beautiful, vintage-look card! Great color combo, and I love the layout. Lovely papers you've used, and those hearts are the perfect touch!

Very pretty paper - those roses made me think of my grandmother and the old-fashioned moss roses she had in her garden, and their wonderful scent. I like your banner layout, I always mean to use that more. The embossed hearts are a great little accent.
