Stamped the cowboy and the cactus group directly onto the PP with the Espresso Truffle. The PP already had some mountain-y looking blobs on it, so I added a bit more with colored pencils, mainly so his horse wasn't standing in the air!
Stamped the sentiment in Versamark & heat-embossed with the detail copper EP. Added a few stars stamped in the Brilliance Lightning Black ink. Sponged the edges with Wild Honey distress ink. Also sponged a bit of Wild Honey in the sky area above & around the cowboy & cactus.
Cut two strips out of coordinating PP, sponged the edges with Wild Honey distress ink & adhered to either side of the card front. Layered on the main panel. Inside has a computer-generated sentiment, "And Happy Trails to you all year long!"
Quick & easy card for a guy!

Liz, this is such a gorgeous western card. Your sponged sky is so soft and pretty and really highlights your cowboy, cactus and star images. The background paper is really lovely and complements your image panel perfectly. ~Karen.

Am commenting on your current card, but came here to see what you cased. I think this is lovely. The background paper and your sponged scene look so good. I like the stars around your embossed sentiment too!
