This anniversary card was inspired by two card challenges this week:
Just Add Ink Challenge #503 (http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/202...hoose-two.html) challenged us to use at least two of these three: Pencils, Stencils, or Pattern Paper. I used a floral stencil and two different pattern papers.

Time Out Challenges #160 (http://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.co...inder-160.html) had a lovely inspiration photo featuring a multi-pattern upholstered armchair and a vase of white flowers sitting next to it. I chose two of the armchair patterns, and the white flowers for my card.
The main panel was made full A2 card size to allow enough of the two pattern papers to show in addition to the white paste stencilled black piece. I spent a lot of time measuring and re-measuring so when I did my final cuts everything would be sized like I wanted them. After the paste had thoroughly dried, all the pieces were glued to the full yellow striped paper before gluing them to the light yellow card base.
The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! (SU) "Itty Bitty Greetings" set. It was stamped with Memento ink, then die cut with a Spellbinders die. I wanted the label shape to be emphasized, so ran the diecut and the die back through my Big Shot a second time with a die embossing "sandwich" so the beveled edges would stand out more.
The card itself wasn't very difficult to make, except for the care I took in making measurements multiple times. I am rating the difficulty level as a "2" out of a possible "5".
