I made this card for this week's Featured Stamper. Ardyth is our hostess and she chose Karen (stampngoKaren) as our featured stamper. I see so many cards in Karen's gallery I want to case, but I chose this card because I LOVE the colors and card design: Loving Baroque Motifs!! by stampngokaren at Splitcoaststampers.
My card is a slightly simpler version than Karen's is. I used a stitching plate for the background rather than the pretty stamping Karen did. I chose slightly lighter colors because no one I know loves the color orange the way I do so I went with peach instead.
I decided to use the flower from the Needle and Thread set because I have not used this set enough. To be honest, this set is hard to use. The distinctive stamps are lovely, but they do not always stamp the best so it takes time and patience. Today, things went better with the stamping so I was pleased about that.
Congratulations Karen on being our Featured Stamper this week. You have a gorgeous gallery full of beautiful cards to appreciate. Enjoy your week in the spotlight and thank you for looking! Happy Easter too! ~Karen M.

This is soft and pretty looking in those colors. I love how you have used the smaller scalloped rectangle on this along with the stitched rectangle. That background stitched plate looks so good. Your 3 little yellow butterflies are such a nice addition too!
