I stamped the flower pot from "Buds & Vases" onto a piece of patterned paper & fussy cut it. Not only was this faster than coloring, but I thought it added an unexpected & kind of whimsical touch. I stamped the flowers from the same set onto vellum bristol, and colored them with my colored pencils before fussy cutting them. To cut in the tight space inside the bouquet, I used my craft knife. I went around the edges of each piece with a light grey marker to hide the white core of the paper. I colored the "dirt" area in the pot with a brown marker, since I knew it would be visible.
I glued the flowers to the pot. I wanted something for the pot to sit on, so I added a scrap of patterned paper to be a "table." I glued the pot/flowers on my panel. I added patterned paper to my card base, as per the sketch. I stamped my greeting on a narrow strip of white cardstock, cut a banner end, and adhered it to my card.

Beautiful card, wonderful idea to stamp on patterned paper! It really does add interest to your lovely card! Your coloring on those pretty blossoms is great!
