I made this birthday card for 3 challenges, I love the sketch this week, it really gave me an opportunity to mix up patterns with my dp, which I love and I learned something new by playing along with Ways to Use it. I tied my gold twine into a knot called the carrick knot, it's a really beautiful knot but kinda hard to see using such small twine. I like the sparkle it added to my card. The ssschallenge was to make a birthday card so I used this Frog Prince from my Patchpal Princess set found here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/7770744..._home_active_3

Fun pieced background and I absolutely love that patchwork toadstool. I think the knot looks really great in that metallic cord. Thanks for joining the Ways To Use It challenge this week.

I just checked out the carrick knot and it really is pretty. A fun way to add bling to your project. Great colors used on your sweet image and in your dp's as well~

Cute toadstool and wonderful papers you used. I like that knot you tied. Looks like a beautiful day to rest on that toadstool.
