Jen is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge, which this week is a coffee party - read why HERE.
I never thought I'd use this sentiment from Inspired by Nature, but it was perfect on this card. For the ink blending Jen requested, I embossed the paisley background and then sponged and blended 3 regular distress inks. Cut the square and added it to the card base. I stamped my cappuccino garden (mine is actually the smaller photopolymer version which comes in a set with another coffee stamp and a couple of sentiments) on white card, embossed it, then coloured with pencils. I sponged the foreground and around the edge of the sky part. I was going to leave the foam just plain white, but in the end I added liquid pearls and a dusting of Pixie Powder. It's matted onto a piece of card sponged with wilted violet, so that it matched. I happened to have a butterfly in my stash that was a good match too - probably Inktense pencils on watercolour paper. I used wire for the antennae. The main image panel is popped up on foam.

Sabrina, that sentiment is so perfect for this challenge! Your card is so pretty with that lovely sponged background and those adorable cups with all the foam on top! Perfect!

Beautiful paisley bg, Sabrina, gorgeous colours! Love the coffee cup garden, the liquid pearls a great addition and the pretty butterfly looks like it has just landed there!
