The Alphabet Challenge is on the letter P this week. This is one of my entries for that challenge as well as this week's TLC challenge to make a Criss-Cross card - which could also be called a pocket card!
For the letter P, I have Petite Petals, Pansy, and leaf punches, Petite Petals and Painted Harvest stamps, and pocket card.
This is a great technique to use up some dsp which is what I did. I followed the steps in the tutorial found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers making mine a vertical card.
I stamped my pansy and petite petals and punched them out, also stamped and punched out the leaves. This was fun to make, I modified it slightly by not fastening the left side down so you still have a pocket but the card can also stand up.
One of the biggest challenges was thinking of a name for this card! My oldest daughter suggested searching for the language of flowers and going from there.
Thanks for looking!

Pretty! Love the paper; I just used some recently. The punched flowers look beautiful. Excellent use of the card fold with your creative touch! Well done!

My DH would agree with you on cards needing to be able to stand freely. I think maybe Anita made at least one of hers like this, with a belly-band to hold it closed. Love the colours in this one, and the pretty flowers on the insert. I can never decide whether grosgrain or organza is my favourite ribbon. I like the crisper tailored look of grosgrain.

I love these colors from the past, and I have that DSP. You have reminded me and inspired me to go digging for those gorgeous colors. I love your floral card and the wonderful fold. TFS!
