Our Featured Stamper this week is mcschmidty! I love Shelly's cards, so I could've CASEd her for a week. It was so hard to choose! Ultimately, I decided that I had to use a Bugaboo image and this cute card jumped out at me because I had the digi and the EF that she used. I printed the puppies and colored just the dogs. I wanted to use the same EF, but I wanted to change things up from Shelly's card, so I inked it up with DOX ink and sprayed with water to get the pattern on my paper. I also used twine like Shelly did. I had this Crackerbox & Suzy sentiment that I wanted to use for their February monochrome challenge. I had originally stamped it on vellum, but felt like it look weird so I stamped the sentiment directly on the image and lost part of it. I tried adding some shadow behind the letters with white gel pen, but I think I may try to work the vellum back in. I really like the sentiment and I didn't mean for it to get so lost.
Oh, and I also managed to work this into Thursday's challenge that I missed while I was in the hospital. L is for layers, O is for Oxide inks, V is for Vintage Photo, E is for embossing folder.
