Today's WT is about Sparkle.
I've always wanted to try embossing in white, then coloring an image. So when I saw this card I just had to give it a try. However, I did find that some of the white came off and onto the alcohol markers. Won't try this again unless I use water colors.
After coloring, I noticed that the marker color stayed on some of the embossing so I went back with a white gel pen and traced over the lines. The smaller bloom was stamped and fussy cut. I die-cut a cajun & a daffodil border, but in the end I liked the image left alone. Added some rhinestones, Gold Ribbon and Wink of Stella to the prills for my sparkle. The main panel is popped up. Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

Roberta, I think many of us have made that discovery....you're not alone! : ) It does work beautifully with watercolors and goes so quickly. Your card is beautiful and heralds the coming of the spring with flowers. Lovely colors and card design.

I think I had read of that sort of problem with Copics and heat embossing - I've never used them, so I wouldn't know. It sounds like a lot of effort went into this, but it does look beautiful.

Beautiful, Roberta with the super clean look...gives your fantastic images center stage. The tiny ribbon is a great touch to finish this card. I never have tried the white embossing with copics, just water colors or reinkers. TFS

This turned out so lovely despite the problem with the ep and the markers. I agree with Sallie that watercolors would be better. Nest time...Love the fresh colors on this against the white bg.

Roberta - this is beautiful and I would never have known you had trouble with staining. So I would put your "fix" in the awesome category. You shimmery gold ribbon and rhinestones are all the glitz needed on this pretty card.
