It is my favourite time of the month...Tickle a Teapotter and Wanda is our terrific guest hostess this month. Wanda has given us a fun rubber ducky challenge.
I took my inspiration from the terrific bathtub teapot, the minute I saw it I knew exactly what Sassy Cheryl image I was going to use.
I printed the image on to Genuine Drawing Cartridge paper (I'm not sure why it is called "genuine" - you know its me, therefore you know it is not expensive). The paper has a slightly textured tooth, it will take a small amount of moisture and it's about as thick as 2 sheets of normal copy paper.
Before I fussy cut around the tub, I did the checkerboard floor and worked out the best place to cut. The floor boards are wider than the card base, but easily fold for purposes of posting.
Irene's fabulous checkerboard tutorial can be found [url=Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers In step 3, Irene has provided a link to a downloadable template - it's brilliant.
On the original image there is a little towel hanging over the bath, I completely messed it up so I went in search of some fabric.....last week I turned the house upside down looking for gingham for DonnaJeanne's card...this week I found pink and green gingham!
Because this paper can take a bit of moisture, I did the bath tube gelato's and a baby wipe.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in and Tickle a Teapotter.

This is fantastic. That little munchkin image is adorable. Hope she doesn't get in trouble for being in the tub with her clothes on. I was drawn to the towel as well.

This couldn't be anything but a Susie card, and you've gone back to your TPT roots, I still have my first step card from you on the desk in the sitting room. The bathroom floor is fantastic. The gingham towel is a great rescue. I buy the Turkish cotton towels like that because they take up less space on a motorbike ;-).

That bathroom is straight out of the 50's with it's black & white checkerboard floor (although by some of the decorating show it's making a resurgence) - Love that you even fringed that gingham towel. The "Pipi Longstockings" braids make me giggle.

I sure can relate to tearing the house upside down. It usually ends up staying that way, too! Whenever you self profess to mess up, I know you make it better. Love the fraying on your towel, and how your dressed little one loves her ducky. It obviously loves her, too. So cute!

The Center step fold is a great way to display this sweet bath time card. I love the fabric towel and it's matching curtain. Your floor and the entire scene are great!
